Neutral Ground Bar + Kitchen is a full-service restaurant, capturing the very essence of American culture and cuisine through innovative interpretations of classic dishes that represent the diverse culinary heritage of this nation. From wood-burning to fire-roasting and baking, each dish on the seasonal menu will be touched by fire in some form or another. The menu celebrates small farmers, heritage growers, and fisherman – regionally, from the Mid-Atlantic and Virginia to the bountiful Gulf Coast. Dishes may include Grilled Caesar Salad with Baby Gem Lettuce, Grana Padano, GW Cornbread Croutons, and White Anchovy Fillets; The Chop - Wood-Oven Roasted Double Cut Bone-in Autumn-Olive Farm’s Pork Chop with Whole Grain Mustard Pan Sauce and a Fennel and Green Apple Slaw; Fire Roasted Oysters on the half-shell with Lemon-Garlic-Parm Butter, and Parmesan; the NG Burger – CHF “Shenandoah Randall Line-Back” Double Patty, Shaved Vidalia Onions, American Cheese, Pickles Ketchup, Yellow Mustard on a Potato Bun and Crispy Fries; and Burnt Caramel Custard with Sea Salt and Nutty Crisp.
